October Newsletter

So soon, you ask? Yes, it's true. Another newsletter. But this one will
be short and sweet.

THE MISSING officially went on sale today. Support your local, and ask
for it by name. Then go Hulkamania if they don't have it.

My interview in Rue Morgue Magazine is now in bookstores. My interview
in the online magazine Dark Scribe is now live:

for access. Dark Scribe is one of the best new review zines to come along
in ages. Finally, www.fearzone.com will soon be streaming a reading I
gave of the prologue of THE MISSING. So check it out, and let me know
what you think.

HarperCollins has also graciously built a myspace page for THE MISSING,
and is hosting a contest: submit a 30-second trailer for THE MISSING
and win an i-phone. All trailers will be linked to my myspace page, and
all entrants (up to the first 25) will receive free copies of both THE
MISSING and THE KEEPER. The winning trailer will be posted on my
website for three months, linked to it for a year, and will also be posted on
fearzone.com. And of course, the winner receives an i-phone.
